This is the final week of the July Christmas challenge and I read Mark Chapters 13 – 16.  

There were three events that stood out to me while I was reading.

1. Peter denies Jesus for the third time.
2. Jesus is brought before Pilot.
3. Jesus denies pain medicine while on the cross.
